Flamme Candle Co began the way most good things do — slowly, by hand, and close to home. We're a small family-run studio based in Brittany, France, making natural candles and wax melts inspired by the landscapes, legends, and light of our region.
Every fragrance we create tells a story. From the salt-kissed air of the Breton coastline to the warmth of a candlelit evening beside a stone fireplace, each scent is rooted in a real place or a real tradition. We believe that a home fragrance should do more than smell good — it should take you somewhere.
How we make our candles
Every Flamme candle and wax melt is hand-poured in small batches in our Breton workshop using a 100% natural coconut-soy wax blend. We chose this wax carefully — it burns cleaner and longer than paraffin, carries fragrance beautifully, and leaves no black soot on your walls or ceiling.
We use natural cotton wicks, premium fragrance oils, and no synthetic dyes or fillers. Every product is vegan-friendly.

Scents inspired by Brittany
Our collection is organised into five scent families — Fresh & Coastal, Floral, Fruity & Floral, Woody & Spiced, and Sweet & Gourmand — but every fragrance within those families is rooted in Brittany's world.
Each scent carries a Breton name that evokes a specific place, tradition, or legend from our region. Phare Breton captures the cold Atlantic air of a lighthouse headland at dusk. Veillée Bretonne is the warmth of an old farmhouse kitchen, fire lit, rain on the slate roof outside. Zeste d'Été is a sun-warmed Breton terrace in late July.
We don't make generic candles. We make candles that are of this place.
The illustrated maps — a keepsake in every order
Every Flamme order includes one of our 26 hand-illustrated collector's maps of Brittany. Each map depicts a different corner of the region — a coastline, a forest, a village, a peninsula — illustrated in our own distinctive style.
They're designed to be kept. Some customers collect them all. It's our way of sharing a piece of Brittany with every person who brings a Flamme candle into their home.

How we ship
All orders are hand-poured and prepared within 3–5 business days. We package every order carefully using eco-friendly materials, and ship from Brittany with tracked delivery across Europe and beyond. Free shipping on orders over €35.
